Jonathan Sposato is Chairman of Geekwire.com, one of the tech sector’s leading news sites & Chairman of PicMonkey,the popular online photo editor.

He also has the distinct honor of being the ONLY person to sell 2 companies to Google. 

In 2015, Sposato, a successful tech investor for two decades, made national headlines by committing to ONLY investing in companies backed by at least one woman founder. “Going forward, I will only invest in start ups founded by women,” announced at the Seattle Angel Conference.

Sposato recently handed over the CEO responsibilities to a successor in order to dedicate himself to the mission of developing, identifying and promoting more female representation and leadership in business. His new book 7 WAYS TO LEAD WITH WOMEN will debut in Fall 2017. 

Prior to being an entrepreneur, Sposato worked in Microsoft’s consumer division including the fabled Xbox games group and on cutting edge online experiences where his responsibilities included advising Bill Gates on future product direction. 

He is also the founder of WeCount.org, the first non-profit to apply smart phone technologies to help the homeless in Seattle.

Jonathan is a graduate of Whitman College and the 2017 recipient of University of Washington’s “Man of Integrity” Award.
