Elisa Young has practiced law in the areas of Business, Non-profit, Real Estate, Probate and Labor/Employment for the last 8 years. Elisa’s diverse background, legal training, private and public experience and relationships are strategic assets which have allowed her to formulate successful solutions. In 2013, Ms. Young opened her own practice, where she was able to tailor one of her focus areas around preventive measures and liability consulting in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion. After 4 years of running her own practice, she decided to take a position with Washington State, a trailblazer around diversity and inclusion initiatives. Being uniquely positioned in the practice of law and its' cross-cultural capabilities, Ms. Young's current role allows her to focus on Accessibility and Inclusion by building an innovative structure that responds to the challenges of an ever-evolving workforce. She is currently spearheading a host of internal and external initiatives from design through execution, resulting in consultation and training that is precise, practical and persuasive. Ms. Young, a Florida native, a Southern girl at heart and remains to be a servant to others. She is new to Washington and is a member of many local and national organizations. Ms. Young is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law and Oakwood University.
