Joey is currently a startup business development manager for Amazon Web Services. Their team manages relationships with thousands of investors and accelerators worldwide helping their portfolio of companies scale with their technology and all things Amazon. Previous to Amazon.com Joey founded an incubator and microloan program specifically for student founders. After that he joined TeachStreet.com which sold to Amazon.com. Joey then spent the next 6 months traveling every week to a different city around the world working with government leaders, investors, and founders to help design startup ecosystems anywhere from Thailand, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Peru and more. This led him to work at UP Global launching new programs globally like SW University and Startup Next.  Joey is an active mentor at accelerators and incubators at MIT, UC Berkeley, UW, and Harvard with a passion of supporting young founders.
