Silvina Salazar is the CSS&S Quality Operations Executive, responsible for establishing CSS&S front line unit controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, procedures and identify emerging risk in alignment with the Banks’ Risk Control Framework and Enterprise Quality Assurance Standards. The FLU she supports are Bankruptcy, Enterprise Military Benefits Unit (EMBU) and Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) Operations, Estate Services Operations, Insurance & Protection Products. Legal Order Processing & Fulfillment, Customer Resolution Team and most recently National Service & Solutions and Credit Reporting Operations. She was also appointed as the interim Deceased EPO, where she is responsible for Enterprise Process Oversight (EPO) to ensure Front Line Units (FLUs) with applicability, have implemented and maintain effective processes and controls for compliance with the Enterprise Policy and Standard through Governance routines, quality monitoring and other mechanisms that track, escalate and remediate risks and issues promptly. Silvina has been with Bank of America for 27 years, five of which she was the GDCE LATAM CAO based in Costa Rica. In that role, she was responsible for developing the growth strategy, risk management, building and driving operational excellence in BA Continuum Mexico and BA Continuum Costa Rica operations with approximately 2100 FTE and a US 80 MM operating budget to provide support to multiple LOB processes and functions under one management structure in a global matrix environment. During her bank tenure, she has held senior leadership positions in Transaction Services, Global Product Solutions, Consumer Bank, Premier Banking and Business Banking. In 2007, Silvina served in the role of Operations Executive for the West Division of CSBB overseeing over 900 banking centers. She is a Green Belt and a Six Sigma Certified Champion. From a Diversity & Inclusion perspective, Silvina served as the National Leader for HOLA (Hispanic/Latino Organization for Leadership and Advancement), Bank of America’s Hispanic Employee Network for 9 years, building the network from 9 to 30 chapters across the US and to 7300 members. She is a Steering Committee member of the GT&O Hispanic Latino council and a founding member of the US Hispanic Latino Senior Leader Council. Most recent accomplishments: In 2016 she was recognized by San Francisco Business Times – Forever Influential Women in Bay Area Business, and in 2015 as one of the top 100 San Francisco Business Times – Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business. In addition, in 2014, she was nominated and awarded by Latina Style Inc. – Top 10 Latina Executive of the Year. Her efforts of building and leading HOLA were recognized in 2014 by the USHCC (US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce) –awarding HOLA – as the Top Hispanic ERG of the year and also recognized by Latina Style Inc. –as one of the Top 5 ERG of the Year. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and earned her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Business Administration at the UOP in Lima, Peru
