Diego J. Medina moved to NYC to pursue a career in music. Naturally, found himself in media as an early employee of a digital content distribution technology startup. He has since lead digital advertising and product operations at traditional publishers (Maxim) and managed business product and technology teams at digital pure plays (Gawker Media). Since 2014, he has worked at Viacom, leading the charge for digital ad products and the creation of custom advertising experiences. He is focused on leveraging the unique value and authenticity of emerging digital capabilities through sales and marketing applications. He is currently the Vice President, Advanced Formats and Experiences in Viacom’s Advanced Advertising division. His favorite turtle is Raphael, though growing up, he was more of a Donatello guy.
