By day, I am a software engineer working primarily in Javascript and Ruby, although a dabble in Python and PHP. My main focus has been in Javascript, specifically in using the client-side frameworks of  Angular, React and Electron, usually while working with Rails. 

In my evenings from March to June and Sept to December, I am working with squads of veterans and teaching them programming.  So far my team and I have helped numerous veterans learn how to code and have also given them tools from amazing partners such as Pluralsight and Interview Cake, to ensure that they can continue learning even when no longer learning with us. Through our work we have gotten numruos honors, including meeting the 44th President of the United States. Our work has been featured in Huffington Post, DreamForce, and Facebook HQ for our work with veterans.
