Anna Robson is a social entrepreneur and CEO of Refugee & Migrant Talent - an online employment platform matching refugees & migrants with employment opportunities. Anna has extensive first-hand experience working with marginalised people, particularly refugees, in settings such as India, South Korea and Nauru. While working at the Nauru Detention Centre, Anna was deeply impacted by the human suffering she witnessed and also gained insight into the enormous potential and highly developed skill-sets of many refugees. It was these experiences that sewed the seed of inspiration for her to explore how technical innovation could help harness the wasted human potential and overcome barriers to employment for refugees. It was while participating in the Techfugees hackathon Anna met her Co-Founder Nirary, a Syrian refugee with a Masters in Web Science and together they founded Refugee & Migrant Talent. In a pilot that is the first of its kind anywhere in the world, companies in Australia using the Refugee Talent platform can hire highly skilled refugees from refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon.  Anna has been named on Forbes 30 under 30 Social Entrepreneurs list.
