A passionate believer in the importance of paying everything forward, a very active coach and mentor and loves helping founders achieve their full potential. Recognised by the Australian Financial Review as a True Leader supporting growth in the Australian startup ecosystem, and winner of Most Progressive Workplace leader by Talent Unleashed in 2017. Interim CEO of Fishburners, Australia's first tech startup co-working space, helping over 1,000 companies start up their businesses since launching in 2011. Fishburners has been rated the best co-working space of the year by Startcon in Dec 2017, and recently moved our Sydney office to the new Sydney Startup Hub in the heart of the CBD. With offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Shanghai we remain that largest tech startup co-working space in the region. Co-founder of muru-D; a startup accelerator programme in Australia & Singapore funded by Telstra. muru-D invests in up to 10 startups every year, giving amazing advice to help scale their idea & leveraging the experience & extraordinary networks that Telstra can bring. Invested in 70+ startups, with hundreds of entrepreneurs benefiting from muru-D's help. Director & Chair of Code Club Australia, a network of coding clubs in Australia for children aged 9–11. Our mission is to give every child in Australia the chance to learn to code by providing project materials and a volunteering framework that supports the running of after-school coding clubs. So far we have 60,000 children learning to code as a result of our programme.
