Chris is Head of Business Inclusion for Google. His team empowers Google to bridge the digital divide by connecting Google to communities that are underrepresented across our business and the tech industry. Chris created Google’s Small Business Supplier Diversity Program to grow access to Google procurement opportunities to small and diverse businesses, and the Accelerate with Google Academy to help those businesses succeed using the web. He started as Manager of Google’s Online Sales group helping mid-sized B2B firms grow on the web. Chris has been awarded for advancing minority business development, was an MLT Career Advancement Program Fellow, and was named one of DBusiness Magazine’s 30-in-their-30s. Chris holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a BA in Humanities from Yale University. @chrisgenteel
